Deeper
We want to help you grow deeper in your relationship with God. The main way that happens at the Current is through our Weekly Gathering. More information.

Wider
The Wider events at The Current are ways to help you reach out and make new friends. These events may range from bowling, to a night out on the town. From a “bad Christmas sweater party” or a trip to the movies, to a bbq in the park. Some of these events happen regularly, like a lunch at UCF each week or meeting for coffee.

Other events that help us go Wider may only happen once in a while, like a camping retreat! No matter what the event is, you are sure to find something fun to do each month at The Current that will help you develop more authentic relationships in your life!

Whether it’s your first event with us or not we hope you find a chance to meet now people and go Wider!

Farther
The Farther events at The Current are designed to help you tangibly make a difference in the world.

At The Current we are striving to be a community that goes Farther then a weekly gathering or just folks who get together. It’s important to go Deeper and Wider, but after that, The Current wants to go Farther.

In the past we have helped with project homeless connect, put on a daycamp for inner city kids, handed out sandwiches downtown, helped out at soup kitchens, missions, homeless meals and haitian relief efforts! There is even a chance for an international mission trip to Burundi Africa!

For those that are ready to go Farther we are here to provide those oportunities to help you go Farther then you ever have before.
